WASP (Wellbeing Action and Support Project) and Sunderland Mind have a brand new group starting for people aged 18-25 from Wednesday 4TH November.
Our aim is to build self-confidence, resilience, and develop the life skills needed in the adult world that we are all sometimes missing - all while strengthening people’s emotional wellbeing. There are so many major life changes young people aged 18-25 are going through already. That alongside the added stress and worries brought on by Covid-19 and social isolation means that the support of others with similar experiences could be increasingly beneficial.
As always, our services adapt to suit those attending. We are encouraging people to have their say, bring the topics and issues they are facing to the group for us to tackle together. There is no topic or life skill off limits.
The group will be running every week from Wednesday 4th November from 5pm via Zoom. Please feel free to share this information with those you feel would benefit from the group. I have also attached a poster that can be shared too.
If you or anyone else would like more information, please don’t hesitate to ask.
